If you have not been to the Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, it means that have never been to Chiang Mai

Many people will tell you this is you said you are going to Chiang Mai " If you have not been to the Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, it means that have never been to Chiang Mai" 清邁 雙龍寺.

Thailand, the Country of Buddhist especially when you are in Chiang Mai, the Buddhism are already started at 14 century...
Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep were built at year 1383, when the story was told resident here found the relic of Sakyamuni Buddha. So they need to find a most suitable place to serve the Relic, they the it on an elephant and let the elephant to seek for the Holy Place... and Doi Suthep is the Place where they have to build the Temple...

Early the morning we ride on the Shuang Tiao which cost us about 600 baht and the price are all the same where ever from the Town. Inside the Shuang Tiao also listed out other attraction point surrounding Chiang Mai, if you wish to go you can always refer to the list for the pricing...

Here we are at the entranceway but we need to climb about 300 steps to reach hill top... it is slightly higher than Batu Cave which is only 272 steps...

Along the staircase, you will met with many aboriginal selling their hand craft at here... some are quite nice and unique...

If you really not willing to take the climb you may consider the cable service... They only charge you 20B for single trip... Never to worry if you are bringing the older one to here...

309 steps leaded us here at the top of the Hill Where the main entrance of the Temple... and if you realize, you will see a signboard here saying you need to pay 25B if you are not local...

You are required to take off your shoe when you are in the compound of the temple, of course they will take care of you shoe with the Lockers.
