Tua Pek Kong Temple (品仙祠大伯公和观音堂) @ Sitiawan, Perak

Recently I found out this new place or Temple near Sitiawan, Perak. To be more accurate you may call this Tua Pek Kong Temple or in Chinese word you may call it  品仙祠大伯公和观音堂 and the location is actually located at Kampung Pasir Panjang Laut Sitiawan, Perak.

It will took you about more than an hour to reach this place if you depart from Ipoh Town. You may find this place according to the GPS coordinate that provided at the very bottom.

his place is actually the village of fisherman and there is only nor more than 5 Chinese Family living here but amazingly you can find this Temple is such a Grand building and with a lot of Giant size Statures...

Once you walk through the Main Gate you will come to this 4 God King who is specially known as the guardian of Temple...or may some people use it to protect their main door of the building.. in Chinese you may call them the 四大天王.

Due to festive season and also it going to Chinese New Year very soon... many believer are here to send their prayer to the God... and lighting up an incense also the traditional of Chinese...

You may find 2 Temple at this place where by there is a Guan Ying Temple and Tua Pek Kong Temple... which both of them are God in the Heaven... as in Chinese traditional, after you done your prayers inside the temple, you also need to lighten up the incense at this Giant size incense burner to send you prayers to 天神.

This Temple was not as grand as what you see at this days... It was just a small tiny Temple at the very beginning and after years and years of donation from the believer who came here and pray for their needs...

The Temple here got it own rumours, you might not believe ... but it happened.. and here is the article where I found on the website
Due to it is in Chinese, you may want to translate it in to English or other language you prefer through Google Translator.

The Incense burner are decorated with Dragon... to Chinese..Dragon is the symbol of Luck.

The older one are carefully teaching and showing the younger one how to present the sincere prayers to the God by saying the prayers and putting the incense on the burner...

These are not the ordinary paper but is is something consider money in the world of God... so people or believer are burning it and send it to the heaven as a gifts to the god...

Believer will fold into the shape of Yuan Bao as what you call it in the older day of Gold before they burn it to the God. As what you can see at the middle of the square size paper... that is a thin slice of silver paper...

During the older day, burning incense is the only way in praying but now you can also lighten up a Lotus candle and sending your wishes to the god... Normally people will do this to pray for their family or their loves one to be in good health and piece. You are required to write down your name and certain info before you deliver your wishes by burning the candle...

Carefully put your candle in front of the God and pray to him...

Most of the Chinese Temple are practising the same way of praying but in some temple there are slightly different... it also depends at the area and the type of Chinese.

This temple are not only famous with their god... but also here built with many other stature which you hardly see in other places... Here also display with most famous god in Chinese 十八羅漢 The Eighteen God, and others... Total up all the stature of Gods... it will come up to figure of 98 pieces....

Artificial Mountain, Fish pond, fountain and etc. you can easily found it here... the built area of this compound is not small at all... it is something like park for you to walk and have your leisure time here...

Something surprised me is this Pond... It keeping with tons of Carp Fish... and in Japanese Culture Carp Fish is the symbol of art and luck...

Look at them... they are truly hunger for the food... each time when you throw some food into the water... they are aggressively go for it...

You count yourself, how many Dragon incenses are here to be burn during the festive season?! Each of the them are more than 8 feet tall... and this is what we call 巨龍香 in Chinese.. The Giant Dragon Incense... This is very famous material to be serve during some big festive season in Malaysia...

Dragon are not only painted on the incense... but it is 3D, and each of this are fully hand crafted non machine are used in producing it.... At least 3 months to produce each of them...

These are the Gods which built facing the Ocean... Chinese they believe this will help to protect and good harvest during the fishermen travelling on the sea... Sitting in the middle is Tua Pek Kong ... and the size of him is 48 feet tall... It might be the tallest Tua Pek Kong in whole Malaysia or even in the world...
The rest beside him is the Guan Ying and others...

Triangle Flag are equally to Command Flag or you may also consider it as prayer flag... because during older time these kind of flag are within hand carry size and it is use to give command by the Senior Officials but eventually the size has been enlarge and used it to be prayers Flag... as to command to the unnecessary bad thing happen....

If you are not a believer ... You also most welcome to here, why? Beside the Temple you will found this mangrove farm... good hearted people gather all the donation and built a path for you to enjoy the mangrove here with paying a single cents... ant the end of the you can even enjoy the ocean view...
