The wind blow at Lake Shikotsu ”支笏湖“

This lake is designated as "Shikotsu-Toya National Park." Formed 40,000 years ago, the fierce fire-breathing Shikotsu Lake, the deepest of about 363 meters, is the second deepest lake in Japan (after the Akita Prefecture, "Tazawa Lake"). Because the water depth, temperature is not easy to drop, so the lake does not freeze all year round, known as the most northern of the day "ice-free lake."

Virgin forest surrounded by layers of Lake Shikotsu, in silence, you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape in different seasons. Around the mountain at around Eniwa, Mombetsu Yue, Yue and tarumae wind die mountain, lush green; multiplied by sightseeing boat on the lake by and enjoy the scenery Shikotsu.

We stop at the rest stop just right beside of this scenery before we reaching the Lake Shikotsu...

All along the journey we are entertained by the magnificence view of this lake...

This is flower where we found after we park our car....
