Saturday Night Market, Fill You Up!

Our Saturday Night Market at Wualai Road Began...
As if you came here before you will know there is 2 Largest Night Market in Chiang Mai, one named Saturday Night Market and another one named Sunday Night Market... Both of it will definitely give you some surprise... and for now as our 1st night and it is the night of Saturday, so we are heading towards the Saturday Night Market which is located at Wualai Road.

We just full loaded our Pocket with Thai Baht and now we are heading to our next destination which is very famous in Chiang Mai Thailand... The Saturday Night Market.

Large and Small pieces of Buddha face are drawn and display at the road side for selling...

The Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, does it sound familiar to you? If you are wondering, let me tell you then... one of  the World Famous Singer 鄧麗君 Teresa Teng was found dead at this hotel at year 1995 and until now the room are still preserve in well condition and sealed.

She was found died from a severe asthma attack while on holiday in Chiang Mai, Thailand at the age of 42. Perhaps now you are wondering which she stayed before or may be you are wondering you still want to rent a room in this hotel or not... ha.

20 minutes walking we came to China Town Chiang Mai and our 1st stop to buy some Mango and the mango is not mature yet at all... How can we put it into our mouth? Ha... you have to serve it with the sources that you see displaying there... Total of 4 types of sources for you to choose to serve with your mango...

Yakitori? Nope this is grill pork meat which serve in bamboo stick...

Charcoal Fish! The Fish are cook in roast style... if you are standing near to it... the smell... will make you damn hungry... and can't resist it...

Look at those fish there... you know know many people are loving it and good business to aunty...

Look at the people there, then you tell me how good is the Strawberry taste?

Tok Tok is the fastest and cheapest way bring us to the destination from China Town to Saturday Night Market which located Wualai Road...

I always wondering what is it containing in the Eggs... It can be found every where in Chiang Mai...

Guess what is it?! I was about to get it but just too full to get it... If I'm not mistaken it is meat ball and it serve in string by string... also not sure how many ball in a string... ha...

An old lady sitting on the wheel chair selling her own made hand crafting ... all of it are made from bamboo leaf... Perhaps you would like to get one for yourself when you see her...

Also we saw many disable people are sitting at the middle of the road performing their skills to earn a money or two for their own surviving....

So many people are gather here to shop and hunting for good food... not only tourist from other countries...even local people are here to spend their free time walking and shopping around... The Things selling here are cheap and quite unique...

Localise Sank.. Want to try some? During the time I passing I found no one is standing here to buy it but only a tourist here taking pictures of it... perhaps not many people can take not to mention to put it into your mouth...

Thailand Treasure, the elephant... now these animal are getting less and less... people even eating them nowadays... Thailand government are trying hard to protect them from hunting down by those terrible human... Perhaps after another Ten Years you may only see these hand craft selling on the street and not the real animal...

After a long walk at the street we came to this Noodle store right beside a corner of to street to be more precise it located at the empty compound... Those pots attracted us to walk in to the store and the man is selling Thailand Famous Curry Noodles...

Before we made any order from the store, I went to the coffee store and get myself a large cup of coffee... is only cost you 20 baht for one... and it filled up with crunchy ICE, it cool you down after a long walk... but the weather today is damn nice... is only about 17 degree and you won't hot at all... not even sweating.

Huala ..!! this is our order... Curry Noodle ... with some onions, snacks... and to be eaten with sour vegetable, ladies finger and water Spinach...  but those vegetables are not cook... you have to eat it in raw...

Don't get it wrong, it is not to serve to babies... but the bottle are containing sources to serve with the noodles..

I got many sausages!!! Which type you want?!

In Malaysia we got Pisang Goreng... but in Chiang Mai they got Pisang Bakar, which mean Roasted Banana... want to get one for yourself?

Old man with his violin, playing at the street and seeking for donation...

For those who have been to Chiang Mai before... definitely you would realize many artistic things around... then you will never be surprise that you can see many artist gather in the Night Market and selling their Skills to the visitor...

It truly worth the penny...

Another kind of culture you may find here at the Night Market... people are sitting at a small chairs and enjoying your curry noodles...

Good hearted people are here as well seeking some donation for saving the Dogs, Elephants, the Poor and etc.

Most of the things you found selling here quite unique and made by hand... so you will not get it from other place... or even at other store at the same street... so when you see something that you like, perhaps you will really consider to get into your pocket or else it is too hard for you to do a U turn after you have done walking for a such a long Night Market.

Look at the crowed and for sure you won't be able to see the end or the road....

This store are selling clocks and some some hand made toy from Coke Coal Cans and things labelled with Word of Coke Cola... not sure is he got the approval from Coke Cola?!

Wooden Hand crafting...

Foot massage after a long walk?! You can find the services every where during your walk at the Night Market...

Thai Style Pizza...

Of course I get myself this super delicious roasted octopus... Yummy...

We done here... and heading to another location for Food Hunting...
